Of course, her father, the comedy icon, Charles Grodin passed along all his "funny", but this legacy goes way back. Marion's paternal Great Grandfather was actually a Talmudic Scholar whose students would come from very far away to hear him teach because he was so popular for his phenomenal ability to make the Torah humorous! His hilarious anecdotes were famous near and far! And then on her Mother's side, Marion's extraordinarily funny Grandmother, her "Mama" is actually one of the main characters in Marion's hysterical show, "Growing Up Grodin"...which traces how this comedy dynamo evolved into being one of the countries' funniest, warmest, most relatable comedians, working today.
